I believe it was said the flash and highlander stuff was a no go.

Some movie/show stuff is easy to license, and others are impossible.

And I want to add to what I said earlier and thank hmxhenry, hmx, and the artist/label for being honest about danger zone. I'd much rather know to not expect a song I really like than wonder for years why we haven't gotten it yet.

My aunt put that song on a mix tape for me in 1987 and it still bums me out to this day. THANKS FOR THE REMINDER.

    That is AMAZING timing.

I just triple checked with the DLC team and yes, if you already bought GD:RB and exported, you should be able to buy the Pro upgrades without any hassles.

It depends entirely on the release. Obviously most bands / labels don't want their dirty laundry aired in public and we try to be respectful of that in the interest of maintaining good relationships with them. But, on some rare occasions, we're able to be a bit more open and let the community peek behind the curtain to gain a better understanding of how the DLC machine works.

I'll check in with the DLC team again. Sometimes the press release just misses that notation.

Unless you count disc releases or RBN content, yeah, this is the most DLC we've ever released in one week.

Also, just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their props on the reshuffling of DLC plans for this week. It was a lot of work in not a lot of time so it's cool to see people are appreciative of the effort.

    Overtly? I think *yes*.

It is very, very, very much appreciated, and the fact that they're able to acknowledge such backs the fact that they tried long and hard to try and make it happen.

It saddens me that greater care wasn't taken to preserve this masterpiece of Americana for future generations, however. Immediately after it was recorded in 1985, the "Danger Zone" master tapes should have been locked away in NORAD next to the WOPR in the event of global thermonuclear war, so that the Beyond Thunderdome kids would know that there *was* civilization before, and that it was good and just.

hmxhenry - when you guys were playtesting Loggins, which HMX staffer had the goofiest grin of joy while playing?

Also, are you guys confident that the power of Loggins will not break Blitz? I'm scared that if I use "Super Vocals" during Footloose in Blitz, that the very fabric of space and time might be compromised.

Similar to what happened when I played "Jessie's Girl" for the first time. The year 2025 says "hi", by the way.

Very awesome KL release! Just watched Caddyshack a few days ago so this is awesome timing. Would be really cool if we could get a Movie Theme Song Pack one of these days. With hits like:

    "Dream Warriors" - Queensryche
"Live And Let Die" - Paul McCartney and Wings
"A View To A Kill" - Duran Duran
"Stand By Me" - Ben E. King
"Wind Beneath My Wings" - Bette Midler.............. okay, maybe not that last one.

Part of me hates that I'm going for the Kenny Loggins tracks.
