I see at least 2 or 3 on the upcoming release that look worth buying.
You know, I hadn't played RB3 in quite a while (been playing Blitz), so when I hooked up my Stage kit last night, I thought the strobe was broken because it wasn't kicking off on any of the new songs.

I had to play Foo Fighters' "Walk" to make sure it still worked (and go into an epileptic seizure).

New dragonforce? I hope this isn't as stupidly impossible on everything as the other two.

Hahah, yea I know, real long time ago.. But nah man, a couple of songs might have caught my ear, but just didn't agree with the lyrics (personal thing). And I'm not too much into the classic rock, some here n there.

Not sure when the Evanescence stuff came out. But I snatched up the 'What You Want' track.

I'm just at the point now to where I have to really like something to buy it. And I have to like the lyrical content now too. I have and have deleted over 50 songs, wondering what I was thinking when I bought em, hahah. So I'm kind of picky now, cause all those songs I deleted felt like such a waste of MS Points.

You can just youtube it and sorta tell.

I know what you mean though. I only bought TTFaF's just because. But this one sounds like it's going to be really fun to play on all instruments. That solo is pretty intense for a bit though. I just hope they don't dumb down the bass notes on the drums. It always bothers me when the bass notes on the drums in certain sections are taken out when it can be doable with one pedal.

Like in the chorus of 'Cry Thunder', right after he says cry thunder (or while he's saying the 'er' in thunder), all four (sounds like four, could be three) of those quick bass hits should be in there, in my opinion. When stuff like that gets dumbed down, it kinda sucks. This whole song sounds like all foot bass notes can be charted. From what I can hear.

But yea, for us drummers, this one sounds like it'll be really fun to play. Not crazy hard, but not repetitive. I'm looking forward to jammin to it.

Also the Soundgarden 6 pack which included 3 new songs with upgrades and added a pro upgrade to one legacy Soundgarden song, the two Queen packs which included 11 pro g/b upgrades (6 for old songs reissued as RB3 Versions, whose legacy versions also received pro g/b upgrades) and the Bon Jovi 12 pack + singles which had 7 pro g/b upgrades; there were a few others, like the Clash, Def Leppard and a Nirvana week where they released 10 lupgrades for legacy songs. They were fairly liberal with pro g/b upgrades shortly after the game was released.

I've cut down with the spending as well, buying only songs that i've heard of and like. Having said that though, there was a lot of content in those 5 months (that's right, 5 months!) that I really enjoyed. I can understand the lyric issue. If a song has over the top lyrics that make no sense whatsoever, i'm more tempted to pass it up.

If you liked Fireflies, you should give the Foster the people tracks a listen. Helena beat was, and still is, a lot of fun to play. More entertaining on the guitar and the pro drums for it is easily one of my favourites in game
