Played "Jessica" in Blitz, think I have carpal tunnel now. Thx, HMX!

Only played in Blitz, and the mix sounded very different from the well-known version that's been used in media forever. It sounds like a lot of the synth is missing or mixed very low in places. And as you pointed out, the vocals sound "off" a bit. But Blitz does some manip to the decibel level of the stem tracks, so I didn't want to make a big deal about it.

I picked up The Weight, Jessica, I Melt with you and Cry Thunder. I played through all of them on guitar so far. The weight was really fun. A lot of standard chording but some little interesting parts thrown in. Gold starred it and got #13 or 14 on the leaderboard if I remember.

I had a hard time on the chording section of Jessica during the keyboards solo. I was struggling trying to alt strum that section and keep a 4x up but I have the speed to single strum the whole thing and was doing better but still left a lot to be desired. Overall I enjoyed the song. Didnt gold star it on my sight read though.

I melt with you was pretty repetitive on guitar. I didnt even gold star it because I figured I could breeze through. My sister was singing it and she said "I think all I said the whole song was I melt with you" , I was laughing.

Cry Thunder was my favorite of the 4 I bought. That will be entering into heavy rotation. Great song and so glad that was added.

Played through Cry thunder, The weight and Jessica on Blitz afterward. Gold starred the first two but not jessica. ON jessica coming out of the key solo there is a check point which was very frustrating.

Good week though. I only added 10 dollars on the credit card so I could only get the 4. I will pick up the NIN next point card I get. Im not gonna get the crossfade song.

No double coins in Blitz for "Chest Fever," "Operation Ground and Pound," or "Through the Fire and Flames" ? Any reason why?

I have watched a documentary on the Band. Their keyboard player was a really creative guy. I think he had a gospel and soul background. They are a very interesting group to explore for people looking for new music and like their sound.

This DLC is amazing, HMX. Thank you. I'll be buying everything this week, except for Dragonforce and Crossfade. Although, "Cry Thunder" actually sounds fairly decent, so I might pick it up at a later time.

Oh yeah, I'll be getting the Pro upgrades too. "The Weight" is really a great tune, even live, and I'd love to learn the progression. "Jessica" is going to be an absolute dream on Pro Guitar and Bass.
    We need some ELO!

I wound up caving and getting all six songs after everyone said how awesome they all are I was surprised at how non-wanky the DragonForce song is.

I'm not nearly l33t enough for the Pro upgrades this week, but "Jessica" will be awesome for those who are (I'm lukewarm towards "The Weight" anyway).

Just the new release DLC gets the bonus this week, probably because of the relatively huge amount of artists. There are also no bonuses for Ramblin' Man or any other NIN songs.

I tried playing Closer for the NIN goal in blitz, and it doesn't count for it....

Still, closer was kinda fun to play in blitz as well
