I never said that, learn to read. For ROCK BAND 3, PS3 doesnt support 1080p. For ROCK BAND 3, on 360 is 1080p....

Pros
- RBN content on a EL GRANDE scale
- 1080p for the few that care(tho the game is native 720p, i dont know why anyone would stretch the game)
- More RB3 Players

Cons
- Paying for gold to play with your friends online
- 95% of people will not play with you online without DLC. Im an exception cause ill play with anyone during gold weekends. (had an argument/discussion in a fb group i manage about this)

PS3
Pros
- RBN content every week along side normal DLC
- cheaper instruments (wii is cheaper than both consoles)
- almost the same amount of RB players (including me)
- 720p for those who care

Cons
- XMB crash

More relevant than video for Rock Band (which is only 720p60 anyway), the PS3 supports lossless multichannel PCM audio over HDMI on most titles, including Rock Band.

The Xbox can only do multichannel via on-the-fly compression to Dolby or DTS, followed by decompression in the receiver. The compression has an effect on audio latency and quality. You're left with an awkward choice between low latency and multichannel. On the PS3 you can have both (if you have HDMI - over optical, you're in the same situation as the Xbox).

Of course, if you don't have or intend to have a surround sound system, you don't need to worry about this.

everything else = required to install some/most games instead of optional, slow update speeds, slower download speeds. and more fun

I think just about everything has been said already, leaving the OP with more than enough info to base his choice on. Since it'll basically all be console bickering from this point, I'd say this thread has run its course.
