    It shouldn't affect Wii or PS3 at all. It's an entirely separate submission process.

    You redownload the song from your history and get the correct song.

    Restitution for what? Go into your download history and re-download Closer. You'll get the song.

    If it all works out, you might end up with two songs!

    I would like to confirm that a redownload from purchase history properly added the song to my library as of about five minutes ago.

    Looking through xbox.com, it seems as if not all regions have the updated file yet. The US and UK do; Australia does not.
