To the people who only purchased Closer: After redownloading it, do you still have The Weight in your library, and playable?

Just confirmed with the DLC team and with Microsoft that this is resolved. As other posters have reported, if you purchased Closer this morning and received The Weight instead, simply redownload Closer and you'll get the correct track. The Weight will remain in your library and will now appear in the store as if you have already purchased it (which you did, accidentally).

I'll raise a note about all the international stores but my expectation is that they will likely have a slower roll out.

Restitution is that the problem has been resolved and it is relatively hassle free for all involved. Thanks for sitting tight for a few hours while we sorted things out.

Purchasing either Closer or The Weight from this point on should get you the intended track, so buy away! I'll keep this thread open for another day just to confirm the international fix, but will close tomorrow as long as it looks like things are stable. Thanks again.

Nope. I've re-downloaded closer and both songs show up in my library. Both play as well

I think you missed his earlier post. He confirmed The Weight remained, and both files work.

I'm guessing this is because though you paid for Closer, the file that was actually downloaded was The Weight. Since the file path has been fixed, re-queuing Closer will get you Closer, which doesn't overwrite The Weight.

I remember something like this happening with the two Dio tracks too.

Also just redownloaded from download history and it seems to be working fine now, and I guess I have The Weight now for free.
