So good! Thanks heaps. Insta-get. The only criticism I have is that it is not the entire Shake Your Moneymaker album. And that's more exhortation for more Crowes than anything else. Cool!

These guys are kinda like The Black Keys to me. They have a couple decent songs, but I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to them.

I always guessed that, most of the time, the cover versions were made when the band refused to give permission for their masters to be used, especially in the early days when Harmonix didn't have a long enough track record for people to know they could be trusted. And, based on this assumption, it seemed reasonable to hope that many "original versions" could be added to Rock Band, all Harmonix would have to do at this point is decide, "yeah, we should make a new version", ask the band again, and their stellar reputation would get it done.

But it sounds like this is not normally the real explanation. Good to know.
I would never scream over a couple of dollars. Just mildly comment on the inefficiency of it all.

I thought GH had the master of "Juke Box Hero" a few years after RB came out. Is this one of the "we don't want to go after the master because we already have a halfway decent cover on the platform for 5 years and pretty much whoever was going to buy it already bought it and the master wouldn't sell that well" instances, perhaps? And just because I'm a cheesy Foreigner mark and want their "masterworks" on the platform to be the original versions.

And yes, I haven't forgotten about "Double Vision", guys!
