I've heard all these songs before, though I didn't recognize them by name. Nothing I'm scrambling for, so I'll pass this week.
AsianSteev: if you can read this, put more Ska songs on the RBN! Please?

Speaking of angels, still waiting for an invite from someone with an XBox to let me come over and play "Mannequin". I'm in the official music video, for crying out loud! I gotta play it ... please don't make me wait until mid-January (at the earliest), when it comes to PS3.

I'll gas up the car when I get home & will check my messages to see which heavenly creature is hosting me...

If you don't mind a trip to new orleans you can feel free to jam with me. I can only offer to pay for the liquor though. Trip charge on you.

As for these songs, I know angels(it's decent enough), and I probably know remedy though I can't hear it. Don't know the last one I think, but black crowes is a decent band.

So for me it could have been better, or it could have been far worse.

Nice, not what I was hoping for but definately not a dissapointing week by any means. No Jealous Again is a bummer but will be picking this up for sure.

I saw The Black Crowes OPEN for Junkyard at a pay to play club (The Omni) right before they broke big on MTV. The Omni was one of those clubs that would let total unknown bands play, if they bought enough tickets to buy their way on stage, and open for bands that were at least getting a bit of MTV play or being pushed by their label. It was a great set by both bands....and the funniest show I've ever seen when one of the bands that openned for them was sooooo bad (Think Sammy Hagar singing for Metallica while playing the tamborine...nothing bad by itself but a total train wreck together) they got laughed off the stage when the guitar player ended his solo, spread his arms expecting applause from the totally packed house and was met with DEAD SILENCE until a drunk guy in the back yelled "you suck!" inspiring a packed house full of thenderous laughter.

I love New Orleans, I go there about once a year ... though I have no plans to return before January. But, next time I'm there, I'll stop by with a 6 pack of Abita and a bag full of muffaletta and see if you're ready to ROCK

If you don't like this band or this pack, remember, there are people out there who REALLY love the band and/or the songs released. There may be very personal, emotional reasons why they like the songs that are coming out and you can't disregard that. I am happy to see the songs that we are getting. They came out in a very important part of my life. I know that some may not like them, but that's fine. Nobody has to like everything. Just remember that there are many out there who do, and every time HMX releases DLC, they are making someone happy.
