    Pro Drums:

    1. Remedy: Some mild rolls, but one of the worst double stroke songs around.
    2. She Talks To Angels: Boring, redundant, played it before a million times on a million other songs.
    3. Sometimes Salvation: Boring and slow. One of the worst drum charts since Dog Days Are Over.

    Pro Keys:

    1. She Talks To Angels: These songs are full of grace notes, both of them. These have the good kind...
    2. Remedy: And these have the bad kind, which are frustrating to pull off.

    Guitar:

    1. Remedy: The solo is one of the best this year.
    2. Sometimes Salvation: The main riff gets repetitive, but it has a few mix-ups as it goes on.
    3. She Talks To Angels: It's not even that the riff is particularly bad, but it never bloody ends. (Insert snide remark about it being obvious why this was chosen for Pro)

    Random chart thoughts:

Bra-freaking-vo on the harmony animations for Remedy. However, I say again, the person making the difficulty tiers for Pro Keys should retire early, or do something else at the building. No way is Remedy easier than She Talks To Angels. Hell, Remedy is hard for a lot of the same reasons as The Weight. Why aren't they both Nightmare tier at the very least?

    Musical opinion:

It's becoming very clear why the only song I know of theirs was a cover of an Otis Redding song: these guys are dull. Very dull. The only standout feature Remedy has are the female vocals, and She Talks To Angels and Sometimes Salvation are some of the dullest songs I've heard all year. She Talks To Angels sounds like a song Train would reject. That is how bland and boring it is.

Overall, I can recommend Remedy and absolutely nothing else. Cmon Harmonix, you gotta have a stronger finish to this turbulent year than this sort of thing.

A theorem on this, based on three data points:
    - Grace notes are hard
    - Grace notes aren't always authored
    - Those two songs have lots of grace notes

I think both of those started off without grace notes, got tiered, and then grace notes were added without re-tiering. I've done the same in reverse- "Keep on Running from My Love" started with grace notes, they were removed, but the corresponding high tier remained. So it's grossly overtiered. It's a pretty simple oversight, on the whole, though one that certainly feels rather embarrassing to make.

I don't know how well that theory jives with Harmonix's current process, but the situation fits that sequence of events logically.

Remedy will be purchased later in the day.

really? i won't debate opinions, but the DDAO drum chart is anything but boring and slow. once you get to the 2nd half, it's pretty much constant rolls and the drum chart is much more fun than i thought it would be.

Yeah, Dog Days Are Over is pretty fun on drums. There have been tons of "worse" drums charts since then. Lowlander, you so crazy.
