Musical opinion:

It's becoming very clear why the only song I know of theirs was a cover of an Otis Redding song: these guys are dull. Very dull. The only standout feature Remedy has are the female vocals, and She Talks To Angels and Sometimes Salvation are some of the dullest songs I've heard all year. She Talks To Angels sounds like a song Train would reject. That is how bland and boring it is.



Obviously, you wouldn't know good music if it walked up and bit you on the ass.

This jerk is a perfect example of why not to read this forum anymore. A bunch of children ponitificating on something they are absolutely clueless about. I'm sure the Black Crowes will just cry themselves to sleep knowing a little twit like you can't appreciate what MILLIONS of others on this planet do.

Well it's just his opinion. He didn't state that they are objectively so bad that anyone who listen to them should be ashamed of themselves or anything.

And as stated before, popularity does not mean anything. I hear a lot of people like fun. and Lady Gaga, well good for them but I don't like those artists outside of maybe a song or two, and the fact that they have had big hits isn't going to change that.

Go enjoy your Black Crowes but it isn't the end of the world (loldatepun) that not everyone will like it. I probably like a lot of bands you hate but I won't tell you that you are wrong for finding them bad.

Black Crowes are an excellent rock band. They did a great job backing up Jimmy Page for the 1999-2000 tour, doing Led Zeppelin songs. If that's not cool enough for you, then you should check yourself.

One thing they have in their music (which some here might not "get") is a little bit of soul.

Well personally I just don't like their melodies or beats that much and never was a big soul fan. They could have backed for Devin Townsend and The Beatles and I still wouldn't be a big enough fan to buy the pack.

Also the charts seems a tad on the dull side.

One thing they don't have in their music is anything interesting to listen to. Doesn't matter how much soul you put into your music, it still has to be interesting and enjoyable to listen to, and The Black Crowes fail miserably there.
