Yes.....I know (not sure why you think I didn't). To which I replied that the only way that would make sense to me is if they had to license "Some Nights" entirely differently from "We Are Young" (besides the obvious difference of de-facto on-disc vs. store DLC). There have been tons of examples of artists having a disc song and having 2 singles released sometime within 3 or 4 months on either side of the game. Too many for me to believe it's just a coincidence. But if "fun." and "fun. featuring Janelle Monáe" wouldn't be licensed together for whatever boring legal reason and were in essence singles by different artists ("We Are Young" doesn't sort as "fun." IIRC), then I could see how that would make sense.
I'd like to guess Soundgarden and Deftones, either of those two would be pretty cool, and they had album releases not too long ago.
The Torch Is Lit!
There's also examples of Blitz artists getting 3-packs or 4-packs or 9-packs or 0-packs.
We haven't gotten a single Blitz artist as DLC since the game dropped. Nearest one previous was All-American Rejects on 7/3/12. And sure, that was just a single. And if I had said that on-disc artists only ever get 2 singles when they come to the store again, then maybe you'd have your "gotcha!" moment.
I thought you thought I was talking about sorting for some reason. Either way The All-American Rejects had a single right before Blitz came out so only having one song isn't that far-fetched.
