DLC prediction thread for 11/30 announcement of 12/4 DLC

It's safe to assume the hints in the prediction threads are specifically for the next DLC announcement, not a long lead tease at what may be coming weeks / months from now.

Is it safe to assume that? In last week's announcement thread you implied the opposite:

I'm working on some long lead hints. Hell, who knows, I could have been teasing stuff that's coming out MONTHS from now.

If you've *told* us you're working on long-lead hints, then the very next hint post you give has about a dozen disparate band references... it would be safe to assume there is no long lead tease? It don't add up, Hank.

Sorry for my lack of activity on the forums today. I'm home sick. Doc may still pop in with a hint but I... I had to come to the forums in the hopes that you could cure what ails me. I am in dire need of some kind of cure... any treatment or help would be appreciated...

I can only hope that I'll feel better tomorrow, but right now I'm burning up, having all sorts of fever dreams. The Christmas tree is walking around the house... who let my dog out... there's a... a man.... on a rocket... I was laying in bed this morning and couldn't tell if the voices I heard were angels or demons. It's too hot in this house! Is that... do I see Jibs? Jibs, is that you? I can hear her talking to them. Tell them I need treatment, Jibs! I need a cure!

Doc, where are you? Doc will save me. He's always been my salvation. This whole thing has gone off the tracks... never going back... I should go back to bed. Lie down with lambs.

Oh now, it's getting darker. So dark, so black, so cold. Stone cold. I can see the ravens circling over head... or are they vultures?... waiting to pick away at me. Im not an ornithologist, damn it! It's my sandwich, you can't have it!

Clues to Black Crowes ("so dark, so black"), Remedy (cure, treatment, Doc), She Talks To Angels ("I can hear her talking to them"), and Sometimes Salvation ("Doc will save me, he's always been my salvation") in bold above.

Lots of close calls with Counting Crowes or Them Crooked Vultures.

I think everyone's missing a pretty obvious one here. It's not the Counting Crows. You see, Henry is unsure of the specific bird that flies over his head. He guesses perhaps ravens or vultures. It is, of course, neither of those. After all, as he points out, he is "not an ornithologist, damn it!" The birds he sees are actually crows...black crows. Consider the part where he says "I was laying in bed this morning and couldn't tell if the voices I heard were angels or demons." Which is it you ask? The answer is angels. You see, when he says "Jibs, is that you? I can hear her talking to them." In other words, she talks to angels.

The first quote was a joke. Or maybe I forgot about the first quote when I said the second. Or maybe all the references are hints. Or maybe none of them are. Or maybe some of them are and then some of them are just people reading too deeply. Or maybe none of them are hints but then we somehow license those songs and they become unintended hints.

Do most hints only have one hint? Or are there hints within hints? Is the uncertainty of the hints still preferable to not getting hints at all? Was I even sick yesterday? HOW DEEP DOES THE RABBIT HOLE GO???
