I left Michael's sketchbook with him yesterday and he decided to thank y'all in his own way.

Let me know if that photo doesn't work I just set up an Instagram today, since I don't know the code for his photobucket. The photo ended up sideways and I don't know how to fix it.

I've also got a fun little story. Michael loves to mess with the med students. There's this one guy named Greg who is his new target that was standing by him when he woke up from a nap the other day. Greg asked him how he was doing and Michael said to him "My eyes hurt, must be because I've never used them before. How are we doing in the war against the machines." Greg was dumbfounded by this, so Michael responds "Dammit, I must still be inside the Matrix." So every time another doctor is around Michael acts fine, but only with Greg does he pretend he's stuck in the Matrix. Greg pulled me to the side today telling me he thinks there are some psychological problems with Michael, I had to explain, "Honey, he's screwing with you."

Can't believe the kid got through med school without a sense of knowing when somebody's joking. But Michael's doing better and looks like he's perfectly able to keep his wits so to speak.

Just wanted to stop by and say that you all are the most incredible people on the face of the planet. I simply asked my wife that if anything about my surgery didn't go according to plan... Essentially the whole damn thing... And never expected such a reaction. Kate went above and beyond what I thought she would do and actually printed out the comments you guys made in here.

Ask if they offered him a red pill or a blue pill.

One of my meds is a blue pill. When Greg came by asking if I would take it, I refused, but if anyone else asked I would.

Note: Greg is a pretentious douche who belittled a nurse who was asking a simple question. Greg was having trouble something, I don't remember what I was half asleep. All I remember was him remarking, "Who is in the top 10% of their graduating class? I mean real med school." I knew I had to make him look bad in some way, so I figured go with what I know and reference the Matrix.
