I'm honestly surprised they didn't put Mister Love in here, but it's still great that we got Possum Kingdom.

I don't think that is the main issue. I believe mass disappointment is causing this because of December 2010 and December 2011 DLC. People are thinking that the mega classic packs were basically a tradition for December, the biggest 1 being that the first Tuesday of December would give a Queen pack followed by other big artists in the following weeks (e.g. Rush, Jimi Hendrix, Billy Joel, Paul McCartney and Wings).

Instead of the mega Queen pack this year, we got a 3 pack of The Black Crowes which did cause disappointment in the discussion thread so people thought the Queen pack would be next week instead which was confirmed not to be when Magnet tweeted we are getting a new band. So lets say for example that the 90s streak continues with some singles on the 18th and a Foo Fighters pack on Christmas Day, the disappointment would continue.

As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I'm really liking the way this December is turning out but I am in the minority.

    [7] AFI

    [9] The Offspring

I don't even recognize the hit, and if i come around and finally recognize it I don't think it stayed on the radio here long at all.

Finally, another song I've known about for months is being released. Go go TAG kickstarter inside knowledge.

☐ Neil Young ☐ OLP ☐ Sex Pistols ☑ Sublime ☐ Supertramp ☐ ZZ Top

Hell yeah! Possom Kingdom! Im pretty stoked about for that! I have no idea what the other 2 songs are, but ill check them out. When I saw it was a pack, was really hoping for I Come From the Water, but oh well, just happy for Possom Kingdom.

I've had a lot of "Oh, that song!" moments thanks to RB DLC, many of which came this year, but Possum Kingdom doesn't seem to have fallen under that. I gave all three tracks a listen since I've never heard anything from these guys but I can't see what sticks out about them. They're not bad but I just can't get into their sound. I get too much of an "average" vibe from them.

It's all relative. You ask me, Toadies are one of my all time favorite bands, having a single would have made my day, having a whole pack tickles me to no end. This meant more to me than any Queen pack ever did.

I do have to agree with the songs sounding too similar. Tyler and Away are far too similar, but both great songs nonetheless. Replacing Away with I Come From the Water would have added that awesome kick of flavor the Toadies have to make this pack shine all the brighter.

    Wtf?

Why are people saying "two other songs"? These are CLASSIC songs from Toadies' Rubberneck album which is all in all amazing. Tyler and Away are BOTH very good, and more popular than I think anybody here realizes. I'm a die hard Toadies fan and I can't wait to get these! You couldn't have picked better! Honestly I'd love to see all of Rubberneck, Hell Below/Stars Above, and No Deliverence on Rock Band. I'd die of joy!
