It's amazing what can stir up discussion. I'd be proud of myself if it weren't so accidental.

Well that's just, like... your opinion, man!

Actually it's an opinion I happen to agree with. But whether we consider them "classic rock" or not, they have a sound that taps into the big bands of the '70s. Lenny Kravitz does too, even if he's actually less qualified to be called "classic rock" than the Crowes.

But, again, I'm a classic rock fan and I like the Black Crowes, so I was happy last week. That's all I meant to say.

It's all right. Everything will work out fine.
It's all right. We're going to the end of the line!

Funny, I was just reading the article about what was planned for GH7, and they mentioned "They realized that, with our lack of budget and time, they couldn't get quality music so they bought bargain basement music like 'Closing time' and 'Sex and Candy.'" Just thought it was an interesting coincidence that I read that about a song released 2 weeks ago and then read about how there seem to be cheaper bands released lately.

Quality is solely opinion based. You could easily say that artists such as The Rolling Stones, Metallica and Led Zeppelin aren't quality music, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if Activision felt that the whole 90s decade except Aerosmith's and Metallica's contribution wasn't quality music.
    Wishlist (possible artists):
    [4] The Killers
    [1] The Cure
    [7] AFI
    [3] Sum 41
    [11] Linkin Park
    [51] Green Day
    [9] The Offspring

If it wasn't for the Pixies, most alternative rock bands in the 90's, including Toadies, probably wouldn't exist, or at least have the same sound that you're familiar with.

I graduated in '94, so this is very nice to see them on RB. I am now confident that requesting songs does pay off. Thanks HMX!

I Come From the Water was one of the songs I submitted to the old request feature. Sad that didn't make the cut for the pack, but still glad we got em.
