the only thing ever said (until a few days ago) was that you guys were trying to see if you would release all the songs for Wii, not once was it actually mentioned that it would happen, let alone for all consoles

It's true that nothing was set in stone, but since launch we've said we'd consider releasing Blitz tracks as DLC or that there was a possibility Blitz tracks would be released as DLC at some point. We clearly could have done more to spread the word, but hopefully the post above will be a start to making more people aware.

I could see FOB and Foo's getting another pack, but the other 3... I'm not so sure. If Kelly clarkson gets a pack over the foo fighters, tables are gonna get flipped.

In all fairness, I've only really been here a couple of months (and what a couple of months they've been!), so i've been playing catch up to RBR's love of **** since the start. I'll get to his level eventually.

Hey all, sorry for my lack of activity in this week's discussion thread. Holidays, vacation time, all that good stuff. But I'm back now, and rather than back track through the last 450 posts (which seems to have turned into a completely off topic discussion of licensing?)

Earlier in the thread, an inordinately large volume of the posts revolved around the song choices for this pack (beyond the Blitz single). If possible, I'd love some clarity as to how these particular songs were picked. I mean, yes, its understood that licensing is hard, it just seems that these two tracks are somewhat unusual, if not uninspired. Seeing the return of a heavy hitting A-list artist is exciting as all hell, it was just somewhat off-putting to not see one of his umpteen bigger hits make the cut
when, I imagine, they'd sell significantly better. Especially, as was stated for Toadies, knowing that Rock Band tends to reach for the "HITS!" when able.
