While there may have been one or two instances where we've announced DLC early around this time of year to get ahead of the holidays, December has never been an "early DLC announcement always happens!" type of deal. We don't have any plans to make multiple DLC announcements / teases right now, just the usual Friday announcements.

As mentioned previously, if it's not a thing you see in a DLC announcement at 10am on a Friday, then it's not a real thing. Rumors are rumors are rumors.

I wish there was a livestream with 3 new artists in 2013 announced, like last year. It doesn't matter if I didn't care for any of those bands, it was cool to see!

seriously, considering the relative trickle of DLC we get these days compared to when the last Queen pack was released, i'd hate to see any of those limited number of DLC slots taken up by a band who already has a metric ton of songs in the game including all of their biggest and most well-known hits. if we never see another Queen DLC release for RB i'm totally fine with that. more than fine in fact.

I highly doubt you would be saying the same thing if your favorite band had the same number of songs as Queen.

I see DLC as a series of small victories. Getting Edgar Winter, Bush, Sublime, Toadies, Eddie Money, Florence + The Machines, Foster the People, and Collective Soul to our platform this year made me exceedingly happy. This combined with great songs from bands who already appeared on the platform. Sure I could whine some bands got more, but then I'd be stupidly overlooking the good aspects.
