Once again I feel like I'm being punished for being a PS3 user with this release date BS.

Of course, I consider MCR one of the five worst bands of all time and wouldn't buy this pack in a million years, even if it meant saving the world from the Mayan apocalypse in the event that it actually happened.

Hopefully next week's DLC is more crap so I don't have to miss out and wait for something good.

I've heard of this band, but I've never heard any of these songs. I only listen to satellite radio, which tends to have bands that don't play on public airwaves, so I'm surprised I've never heard these. Although, after listening to them on youtube, I would have changed the station anyway.

No new music for me this week, or last week. Now that I think about it, I've only bought 1 song out of the last 3 weeks. I'm 2 songs away from hitting 500 downloads and just can't seem to get there. I even went back through the sale to see if I could pick up 2 more and just couldn't find anything I wanted for $1!! Maybe something will come out on RBN.

I've wanted Sing since it first played once in 2010, then showed up in Blitz. I guess the next Fun pack is fairly obvious. I'd really like a Blink-182 pack with Heart's All Gone but non-singles off mediocre albums are rare...

And I wonder what the December 30th DLC will be?

They've got another song on RBN (Things That Make You Scream), which I think you'll like, if you like Break Away. It is a little heavier.

As for MCR, I feel like I've already played the non-Sing songs enough in GH, but I'll buy 'em anyways.

Sunday December 30th, 2012: Xbox 360 should get new DLC, early on account of the Tuesday holiday.

Tuesday January 1st, 2013: No DLC updates today, on account of the early Sunday release.

so that weeks dlc will be announced on friday as usual and released on a sunday?

That's the plan, yes.

You should take that up with Sony, since we have no control over when 1st party chooses to update. Microsoft has elected to publish new content on their usual schedule, and Nintendo and Sony have not. This isn't specific to Rock Band either, and should affect titles all across the board. It would be much easier for us if all the release dates were synced as well, but it's not entirely in our control. Hope that makes things a little clearer.
