Goal progress not updating when playing songs in RB3

The goal in particular is the "ROCK BAND BLITZ THROWBACK CHALLENGE". Since I've already played those in Blitz, I figured I'll play them in RB3. I played one song in the morning, and its progress displayed on the goal within 5 minutes. However, in the evening, I played 12 songs for the goal. None of the songs' progress updated in the goal.

I was online the whole time. I got 5 stars on each song. Each song was previously unplayed in RB3. And, interestingly enough, the stats for the songs are in my RBW profile in the RB3 section.

Does this happen to anyone else?

well it has happened to me that songs played on rb3 take much longer to update on RBW. Just wait a little more, of course it should not be more than around 3 hours.

I've found for me personally, in the last couple months or so, whenever I've tried to do goals on RB3, it'll only update the first few songs I play and then not register anything anymore, or, like what happened to you, register one song/chunk of songs then if I take a break, register nothing after the break. It sucks, I'm disappointed to see it happening with more people and hope they fix it. Playing goals through Blitz seems to work fine for me though, rarely takes more than 10 minutes to register songs played, so there's that option.

I never have a problem with goals being updated for Blitz. But I've been on a RB3 kick lately, and figured I'd hit the goals with a guitar. Oh well, it's no big deal, just gives me an excuse to play the songs again

This happened to me too and I opened a ticket with Harmonix Support. They suggested to unlink my profile from RBW and then link it again. I didn't think that would work but I said what the heck. After I finished all the goals in progress that didn't need RB3 songs since I didn't want to loose my progress ( just in case ) I tried it and magically that worked. The first song updated pretty quick. The second took about 4 or 5 songs later before I saw it in RBW.
