I would rather play with no power-ups than play like that. Why even have notes, charts or music? I didn't mind people that could exploit the game while hitting nearly all the notes, but come on this is just avoiding playing those things altogether and just using power-ups. I would be ashamed if I played that way. Way to suck all the fun out of a really enjoyable game. If this is how to win I would rather lose. It doesn't really matter, I play to enjoy the music and feel like I'm part of it. The prize I get is pure joy. If you get joy from playing that way, more power to you. It has to be tough for Harmonix to send out prizes to people that are trying to find a way to remove the "rhythm game" part of the game. So number 1 in the world had an average of 78.6% of notes hit at the time this video was made. 78.6% should only give you 4 stars tops, more likely 3 stars, no wait 570,953 points and top spot in the world. If this game dies out due to lack of interest this will be why. I'll keep on playing and enjoying the game. I love the music and the addictive fun of playing. Different strokes, I guess.
