Probably the same as the Greenday songs. Just pay the 80MSP/$0.99 that you would with the typical DLC.

    edit: It's ok M_Robbins, I got ninja'd twice.

What a terrible way to start 2013. And it definitely looks like 2 new songs per week have become the norm instead of 3.

    "listenability".
Sure, as I said, I listen to satellite and Pandora on-line. I was just curious where everyone else had heard these songs, since I had never heard them.

Because it's Pop. You can throw whatever pre-text you wish (pop rock, glam rock, hard rock, acid rock, rockabilly, rap rock.......), that doesn't make it rock. If it is the instrument ensemble, then country music is rock. And while we're at it, Jazz must also be rock. Come to think of it, everything must be rock other then techno. I was able to find over 100 references to "rock" in various sorts (such as above), so it is certainly an ambiguous term. Leading to "in my opinion".

If it plays in an elevator, it's not rock!
If you find yourself whistling to it, it's not rock!
If it is the theme song for a knitting club, it's not rock!
If you did not make devil horns and bang your head, it's not rock!
And most importantly, if my 72 yr old father says it's "good music", it's NOT rock!

I'm not quite sure that is even a word, but I think I understand your point. I really didn't like listening to Party Hard, it was definitely rock, just don't really like it. NIN is definitely rock, but don't listen to them either. But I will argue with anyone until that one places freezes over that Elton John is rock. Good toe tapping music, yes, rock, NO.

This is almost as bad as when rsm claimed that Two Tickets To Paradise isn't Classic Rock.

Now you have me curious, what is it if it isn't classic rock? I missed that one.

You don't pay much attention to the Rock Band Network releases do you?

I know we released a metric poop ton (yes it was measured) of metal this year, and we're hardly alone.

Strikken, The Dillinger escape Plan, The Minotaur Project, Onslaught, Benighted, War of Ages, Buried in Black, Soma Dark, Ava Inferi, Edenshade, Halcyon Way, My Ruin, Fail Emotions, Saint Vitus, Not Above Evil, Terrorizor, Spires, Cynic, Wolfcrusher, The Burial, ETHS, Oklahoma Caddy Shack, Anarchy Club, Raggedy Angry, Eden's Curse, Devin Townsend, Gnostic, Engel, A Plea for Purging, Mystic Syntax, Solution .45, Powerman 5000, Watain, Atheist, Morbid Angel, Ghost Brigade, Watain, Prototype, and Nevermore.

Most of these artists had multiple tracks released.

So if you think there's been no metal released in 2012...you just aren't looking very hard.
