    Predict the final DLC.

Something I've been wondering lately, when the franchise inevitably comes to a close, (either in a year or five or whatever) what WILL be the last piece of DLC released?

Do you think Harmonix has this one special song they're saving as an 'encore' to the entire franchise and the Rock Band experience?

What do YOU think the final piece of Rock Band DLC SHOULD be?

(I'm not saying the franchise IS ending, or I want it to end, or anything of the sort, just trying to stir up some conversation)

Something big would do the trick, something people always wanted and never got. Examples would be Genesis, Pink Floyd, and such. I still doubt it would happen.

Muse pack, hands down. Harmonix is aware of the MOAR MUSE crowd, and something tells me they're saving a huge-ass pack of them for the very last moment.

The final DLC won't be anything big. They'll probably just do what Guitar Hero did, and put out everything they had in one big pack.

This is the correct answer. People expecting a Muse pack or something are dreaming.

No way in hell we get weekly DLC throughout 2013. I bet by the end of Summer it'll be done. Not complaining because we've had weekly DLC for years now, but train's gotta stop at some point.

Nah, i can see it lasting awhile, sales on dlc aren't what they used to be but they still aren't horrible. I can see Dance Central going under soon though.. dance game crazes dont last long at all.

That's what I'm thinking will happen. Hopefully not anytime soon, but I won't be screaming "UNFAIR!" if they are forced to stop. Market conditions and all that. It'll be years before I am "done" with this game, even if they never release any more songs after 1/8/2013 ... as long as rockbandscores.com is able to keep updating their stats!

Oh, and as long as "Mannequin" by Dance for the Dying comes out on the RBN for PS3.

Depends, if it goes down to 1 song a week I'd say "I Wanna Rock" it would be a fitting bittersweet conclusion
