This might sound like a bizarre thread, but I am a collector and like to have all of my discs in pristine condition.
One weird and annoying thing I noticed about Green Day Rock Band Plus, is that the paper slipcover that comes with it has sticky anti-theft things placed over both openings (top/bottom), and if you try to remove those, it destroys the paper. Literally rips all the ink off. And now that the game's out of print, I can't find any floating around - I am not going to buy a new copy of the game just to get a slipcover.
Has anyone spotted any copies either that don't have the sticky plastic tabs or where those can be easily removed without ripping off all the ink? I own GDRB+ for both Xbox 360 and PS3, both of them have the same problem - and my slipcovers for both are slightly destroyed as a result.
I'm assuming Harmonix has nothing to do with this, it would probably more be EA or whatever company produced the physical hard copies that went to stores.
As another side question, does anyone own GDRB+ with a good-condition slip cover who doesn't want it anymore? I wouldn't mind trading slip-covers to get a better condition one.
To my knowledge, GDRB was the only title in the series to have any sort of slip cover.
