Rock Band Pro vs. Rocksmith - December 2012

    This one's for the win.

    Rock Band

The Black Crowes - She Talks To Angels
    Toadies - Possum Kingdom
    My Chemical Romance - Teenagers

    Rocksmith

    Pantera - Cowboys From Hell
    Pantera - Walk (Guitar) (Bass)
    Pantera - Domination (Guitar) (Bass)
Nickelback - Bottoms Up (Guitar) (Bass)
Nickelback - How You Remind Me (Guitar) (Bass)
    Nickelback - Rockstar (Guitar) (Bass)
Foo Fighters - Times Like These (Guitar) (Bass)
Foo Fighters - My Hero (Guitar) (Bass)
Foo Fighters - Walk (Guitar) (Bass)
Foo Fighters - Wheels (Guitar) (Bass)
Foo Fighters - Best Of You (Guitar) (Bass)

Yeah, okay, the Foo Fighters and Nickelback choices are largely uninspired, and Possum Kingdom is a song everyone wants to learn on guitar. But, seriously, look at the difference in quantity. Maybe if RB had done something shocking and released an upgrade for each week, like it used to not long ago, it might have stood a chance.

Oh wait, not even then, because Rocksmith gave us Cowboys From Hell. Who could forget?

Even with the quantity, ill go with rockband this month. Pantera, nickel and foo fighters dont interest me at all.

For me it was a crappy month for both games except fo on rb i actually like one song and i can tolerate the other 2

The only one of the 14 I'd even consider buying is She Talks To Angels, so I suppose RB3 wins this battle of losers.

I think the RB Pro choices are all great but I just can't call it a tie. Not when Domination and Cowboys From Hell are involved.

Cowboys From Hell alone is better than all 3 RB offerings combined.

It's kind of hard for me to give my vote to Rocksmith with Pantera and Nickelback being part of this month's DLC, but ultimatley it comes down to Foo Fighters (with disappointing, but still pretty good choices) or MCR.

I guess I'll give it to Rocksmith even though Pantera and Nickelback greatly reduce the quality of December DLC, Foo Fighters more than make up for that.

Foo Fighters makes Rocksmith win for the first time in a while (if Foo Fighters wasn't there then RB would have won for "Teenagers")
    Wishlist (possible artists):
    [4] The Killers
    [1] The Cure
    [7] AFI
    [3] Sum 41
    [11] Linkin Park
    [51] Green Day
    [9] The Offspring
