Also, given that RB doesn't have the largest gaming community around, you wouldn't be bringing events like this to places like the UK or AUS, mainly due to it costing too much and not having enough people to attend.

Would I be correct in assuming this? Moving on though, how much would you say it would cost to get a group of us foreigners to the US for a weekend to experience one of these legendary RB nights?
pretty much this, the best I could hope for would be at Gamescon in Germany, and I even doubt that.

Eurogamer is a no go. It's not really the kind of venue to hold a rock band party at. If they could get one at gamescon, i'd do my best to get there.
SillyStou: What will happen to this place when Rock Band ceases to exist?
RockBandRocker: We will all migrate to the Dance Central forums. It will be like Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt.
Munnchy: Only Flashier, with impeccable dance moves.
RockBandRocker: With more glitter and glam. We will survive

    Dude! Coconuts.

There are sooooo many people here who probably never stepped foot into a Coconuts or Sam Goody and wasted hours looking through the racks and box set areas.

Will never forget scraping together $90 and buying the Led Zeppelin boxed set at "The Wiz" (known for their classic slogan "Nobody Beats The Wiz!") at Menlo Park Mall in 1992. Good times. Now it's click on a button and buy the compleat Zep masterworks at iTunes.

I voted for "$20 for a banging party and some food is good by me.", although I can't imagine anybody complaining about giving to charity.

If there was a "$50 for a banging party which ends when hmxhenry gives hmxpope the chokeslam from hell and drives his carcass back to the underworld while hmxpaulbearer laughs manically" option, I'd probably vote for that one.

If I was already going to PAX East, I would be willing to pay quite a lot. But my total cost would also include the flight to Boston + a few days of hotel + PAX East passes ... which is just a little too steep. The kick ass RB party would be 80% of my reason for going.

I would still pay $20 or so, especially if some of it went to charity, just to play along virtually from home. Someone can set up a Skype feed, right?

I'm already heading to PAX East so I'll pay whatever to get into a kickass RB party. Though $20 seems reasonable.

The second option there. I am willing to pay as long as a few dollars goes to charity
