Personally my favorite shooter is Resistance.

Resistance 1 was awesome. 2 less so and 3 brought some of it back. Them switching to the 2 weapon system in 2 and 3 make the game worse. All those awesome guns at your disposal in the first game made for some good times.

I hate when games make you chose which guns to carry. Especially Resistance 2 where it limited the fun of having great guns, by making you less likely to experiment with them. As real as GTA "V tried to get it at least knew that having the option to use a rocket launcher everywhere was still better than having to chose between that and something practical.

I dont like it when games let you carry two weapons at a time but limit what your second weapon is. Let me carry a AR and a shotgun if I want to. If thats how you want me to start the level or whatever thats fine but let me pick anything up in the field/
