Wow. Okay, I need to ask you guys if I did the wrong thing, or if my friend's wife is just a total c-word. On Mondays, each and every week for the past ten years now, I play cards with my friends. Just a night of us guys having some drinks and playing cards for minimal money. With no job at the moment, it's a good an inexpensive way for me to get out of the house for a night and have some fun. So it's something I look forward to.

Today, up here in the Northeast, there was a bit of a wintry mix out there but nothing bad to drive in or anything. I drove in it to head out to the gym and came back with no issues. We usually play our game at about 6:00 and by then the snow had turned to rain and the roads were fine. I was getting ready to head out when I got a call from one of the poker buddies who said that the game was canceled as two of the people who usually play didn't want to drive tonight. I was pretty irked as I really wanted to head out and play and had already canceled plans with another friend of mine due to the game.

We rotate who hosts the game each week and so for this week another one of the poker guys was hosting. It was late in the day so I sent him an e-mail at his home e-mail address and to nobody else. (As I knew I was a bit irked and also didn't want to flood the inboxes of all the people who either didn't respond to the invite or didn't cancel out). The e-mail was somewhat irksome where I told my buddy that it was a shame that some of the people canceled as they grew "female parts" and "female-parted" out. The game is potentially rescheduled for Wednesday so I said I could make it and that it's supposed to rain and I hoped that those who canceled for tonight didn't worry about getting their "panties wet."

This is typical jabbing that goes on at the game, but of course in text it doesn't have the tone of voice that real life does.

Anyway, apparently my friend's wife went and responded to the e-mail I had sent to my friend and decided to include EVERYBODY ELSE who was on the invite to the reply which included my initial irked response sent SOLELY to my friend. She responded by saying that "some people have jobs and other responsibilities and weren't able to attend. I hope your panties don't get wet." So she decided to take the private e-mail sent to my friend and send it off to everybody else while taking a personal jab at me as well.

Was I in the wrong for sending an e-mail directly to my friend expressing my frustration, or was she the worse one for sending that private response on to everybody else while personally attacking me?

I don't feel I did anything wrong, and honestly, I think she is the one being a complete and utter c-word.

But now unlocking your phone is illegal! YOU WILL BE ARRESTED!

Again, in my case, the carrier is cool with it. Even if you get a phone on contract you can, after a few months, ask them to unlock it for you. (If they dissemble, tell them you're going to Europe and want to use a prepaid SIM while you're there.)
