As huge as the age gap between the two games is, I wouldn't be surprised to find that PDZ influenced a lot of the graphical decisions of Halo 4. There's just as much glow in both games.

Mind you, I'm glad that is the only thing that possibly influenced Halo 4. PDZ is probably a worse mix of old and new FPS mechanics than Duke Nukem Forever. That said, DNF is still the more foolhardy and sloppy game.
