Okay, sounds good. I'm coming up on 5,000 hits for the life of the blog (the exact number right at this moment is 4,871). I get anywhere between 20 and 60 a day, and at the height of the NCAA women's championships I had several days in a row where I got over 200. My blog is also known to members of SB Nation, which I think could count in my favor.

I need to take care and deliberation in my response. I haven't been able to get their e-ear yet, so I must not waste the opportunity. Should I hold back on the "you cover a dog show, but not a popular college sport" card? It really does mystify me, but I think that may come across as sour grapes.
