    Yeah I know what the abbreviation stands for, but I still don't understand it as a figure of speech, or especially why it infuriates people so much.

    YOLO is an excuse for dumb people to do dumb things. The people that use it are the people that say they have swag and wear flat brimmed hats. The "Douchebros" mentioned in the movie thread.
