It's already much nicer this time. I've gone from "Dude you're gonna be a father? That sucks, I didn't even know you were seeing anybody" to "Dude congrats you two are adorable together." Car situation is pretty ok. My wife has a car that seats 5 and so does my truck. I'm giving up my art studio to turn that into a bedroom, actually I'm just getting out of the art world all together. I've been sick of most of my clients and I no longer feel like this is for me. Trading in my brushes for an upper level management spot at Target which offered it to me.

I guess I shouldn't judge, but it still seems like something you ought to contextualize. "Wow, you look nice!" is not stalking.

Most Target stores have at least a few employees that are primarily situated in offices... like the one store HR director in Indiana that kept convincing himself that I was unfit to work in a warehouse (guess what, Amazon would beg to differ, and they pay me better than you were offering).
