Those are headphones. I wear them all of the time, and it's one of my most notable features as the music guy of the group. I'm almost never without them.

And the elbows thing is just me waving my arms since I bang my hands on tables very often and make exaggerated arm/hand movements to amplify what I'm saying.

She bickers often with people, and she was bickering with the artist (the girl next to her) at the time the artist was drawing the picture. Bickering mostly about opinions on things (fiction tropes, mainly). And that 3 pronged sex toy is the Enterprise, I think.
