Heck, I've seen bands live who can play a studio-quality performance basically on command, only adding in occasional ad-libs and inside jokes along the way.

Unless a band is terrible live: live music >>> studio music. Always, no exceptions.

Id rather listen to music in the comfort of my own home and not in a big venue full of ******* that will only make the experience worse. People suck.

I'd say Porcupine Tree, but their audio-visual stuff might trump Steven Wilson doing his best Trent Rezor impersonation.

    ^ Told you
SillyStou: What will happen to this place when Rock Band ceases to exist?
RockBandRocker: We will all migrate to the Dance Central forums. It will be like Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt.
Munnchy: Only Flashier, with impeccable dance moves.
RockBandRocker: With more glitter and glam. We will survive

Also I HATE loud music. Its so annoying sitting in a car with my friend and having to yell at him when hes next to me because of how loud hes playing his music. That is exactly what a concert is.

This. Even if I've never been to an actual concert, most of the bands I've listened to live albums from had better live performances than studio recordings IMO.

I've been to about 15 concerts and only once did I have a serious issue with some people in the crowd. For the other 14 times, the concert atmosphere was great and actually enjoyed being around other people that enjoyed the same band I did, even made my experience better. Just avoid the drunks (extremely easy to spot) and you should be good.

And the closer you are to the stage, the less problems you have, at least from my experience. The people there are the people that came for the music and nothing else.
