I've done many dumb things in my life. But pull a fire alarm in the middle of the night is not one of them. However when I lived on the commune while I was a river rafting guide... Those were crazy days.

There was this guy none of us liked so he got drunk one night and passed out by the river so we took his raft, put him in it without any clothes and sent him down the river.

The only floor meetings I have are planking.

Remember planking? That was a dumb fad.

I won a dollar playing musical chairs at our floor meeting so...

Also I learned that I wasnt the only only that was hearing the sex going on upstairs. It goes on 24/7 365 and the whole apartment can apparently hear it.

So I apologized for the noise and everything is kosher.

We had one for that reason, but happened literally just after the alarm stopped. The RA's yelled us and gave us a final warning about setting them off. A £400 fine halted the hoaxers that liked to set them off at two in the morning... ¬_¬

In the dorms last year we have 6 fire alarms. All because people dont know how to cook popcorn. We are college students and they dont know how to microwave popcorn. -_-

The one time it did go off for a fire, we'd piled outside at about 10pm. Freezing as always. And there was smoke billowing out of someones kitchen. Turns out they were making hot chocolate.... That's right.... They set fire to a liquid....

The first time the alarm went off I thought it was just someone doing some drilling(the power tool not the sex kind) and ignored it until my roommate called and asked what was going on at the dorm. That was pretty fun.

Oddly enough, the one time I had a smoke alarm go off in the dorms due to badly-nuked popcorn, it was by a guy who now has two doctorate degrees.

...and probably still can't make popcorn.
