My town doesn't get many big name concerts. We prefer our ****ty local hardcore punk scene. About the only major acts I can recall coming to our fair 'burg, and I may be stretching the definition of 'major' a bit, were Metric and The Roots.

Neither of which I went to. I'm really not much of a concert person.

I suppose it's too late to get good tickets. I'm not much of a concert person either, but Soundgarden is one of the few preformers I would be willing to go see live.

My town is a weird combination of 50% black, 20% hipsters, 15% med students, and 15% army personel. So we have the weirdest hybrid bands. She & she is one of my favorite local bands which is a group of lesbians with amazing harmonies and sexually charged lyrics. Funk You is a great little psychedelic band that I had the privilege of sharing a smoke with backstage before. Then there's Manray who I did a band poster for the band they opened for when they played a concert with a sweet electric cello.

Other than that we get some strange concerts that spring up randomly. Dinosuar Jr., Deftones, and Avenged Sevenfold are 3 I recall came within the last couple years.

Only concert I've ever been to was a free Big & Rich concert that was right after the Nationwide race at MIS. Here's a video from someone else. That was taken probably about 50 feet further back then where I was. Kid Rock was also supposed to be there, but I guess he couldn't make it.

I'd probably like it more if I knew more than one song they played.

There could be concerts happening here every day and I wouldnt care. I know we get a lot of country concerts.
