Your way is more work. With a fresh install you put the disc in boot from disc and let it do its thing. I'm doing it right now!

As far as I know, this is the only one that isn't hard. It's basically a fun little lick throughout the first two minutes. The last 10 seconds is litterally the only part I couldn't FCvideo of the song (guitar is on the right)

Messing with the registry is an easy way to have to do a fresh install or at least a restore. Fresh install does everything on its own and is "impossible" to mess up.
