You'd just have to drop by for some local multiplayer sometime. Although local multiplayer at my place usually involves board and card games rather than video games as well, except for the occasional RB session.

And I hope that WoW movie turns out just as well as the Dungeon Siege movie did.

Only if you've ever played the two terrible games everybody knows, Monopoly and Risk, which are two of the worst board games out there. It's like judging all video games after playing only Superman 64 and ET.

Online risk is OK (check out Landgrab.net if you enjoy that, I used to be pretty active there). But yeah, those are hardly board games.

Lots of fun board games out there, plenty with creative rules and concepts, and are more than just who got lucky with dice.

My problem with Risk is that it's too luck-dependent for a strategy game and too dry for a 'casual' game. I prefer games like Axis and Allies, Game of Thrones or War of the Ring when I want to play the former, or games like Ticket to Ride, Carcassonne or Bang! when I want to play the latter. And then there's also cool co-op stuff like Arkham Horror. Monopoly is a dragged-out mess that should end about one or two hours before it actually does. It's just really poorly designed.

As for card games, I've snagged up a copy of the Netrunner core set and first expansion after FFG rereleased it as a living card game. It's really, really good.

If a game(video or otherwise) is not fun to watch people play I dont consider it a good game. I'm assuming the board/card games Lex would consider good are the games I would consider bad.

Considering your short attention span and dislike of complexity, I don't doubt it, to be honest.
