Rumors going around again that the NeXtBox (hehe) will only run new games. Suddenly I'm thinking of just sticking with Nintendo this gen. Really the only thing that would have instantly sold me on the NeXtBox was RB4 but that isn't happening so what would I be buying it for? The thousands of bland FPSs? No thanks.

People are saying this is no big deal because the PC has been doing this for years. Well yeah it's no big deal there. Steam drops prices so low that it's crazy. You think Microsoft are ever going to do that?

I'll sit it out for the first few months or so.

The PS3 had the same rumor as does the PS4. Steam sales shouldnt have anything to do with people opinion on no used games because you cant sell your old games and buy new games which is why most people like used games. "But what about if I am on the fence about a game?" You wait. Retail does go down in price. Halo 4 is already $40. I think the problem people have a bigger issue with the the "Always on" thing that is also rumored. Again something else Steam has.

The PS3 is such a disappointment that I don't expect anything from the PS4. I may get that before the NeXtBox though just for PS+. I freakin' love PS+.

Nothing under 60. Ideally they go a full TB but I doubt they will. Hopefully they at least allow support for a standard external.

NeXtBox and PS4 should both have a minimum 250 GB hard drive. The XBox 360 core release at launch with no hard drive was about the dumbest thing they've ever done (and they released "Bob"). The 4 GB offering now is not much better.

yeah that is the biggest problem with the Wii U is that the biggest storage is only 32 GB... luckily the Wii U supports any portable hard drive... I do hope the neXtBox and the PS4 do the same

I don't really care too much about the other consoles now anyways... I have not liked any Sony game system since the PS2... and the only reason I bought a Xbox 360 was for Rock Band

I think sometime in the future I might get the neXtBox but it is definitly not something I will be excited for at lauch like the Wii U

Yeah I think I'm ready to go back to Nintendo. I was all about the Game Cube and RB is the only reason I got an Xbox. I'm prepared to fully dive into the Wii U.
