as i said before, the score in those games gives you 1-ups.
the secrets contain more than just that score. ammo, weapons, eastereggs. all integrated into the game itself instead of a message popping up telling you that you could, if you slightly care about it, play the game in a different way for 0 reward.
my love is like a candle, if you forget me, i will burn your damn house down.
I don't give birthday presents, it's against my religion.
Don't talk about religion on the Rock Band forums.
If you don't have birthdays, you never age, that's just math people.

It looks like a really bad rip off of spiderman 2. Which is really insulting, because that game was F***ing amazeballs!
I see I'm not too late to the game discussion after all! My two cents, I loved Spec ops: The Line, but not for the gameplay, for the story. It may have only lasted 6 hours, but I would happily replay it again and again. Just like rewatching my favourite movie.
SillyStou: What will happen to this place when Rock Band ceases to exist?
RockBandRocker: We will all migrate to the Dance Central forums. It will be like Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt.
Munnchy: Only Flashier, with impeccable dance moves.
RockBandRocker: With more glitter and glam. We will survive

I'm a rebel.
Another example of the kind of game Jibs is talking would be the Fire Emblem games. If you rush through those games, you'll likely come to some point near the end of the game with most of your characters dead and it being impossible to finish. Once a character dies, you never see him/her ever again in that playthrough. If you talk to allies, they will join your squad but if you ignore them, they could become enemies in another chapter.
