I took a stolen property report on a guy's weed. (An amount intended for sale) I told him if it was recovered, he'd be arrested too, he said he didn't care, it's "the principle".

I've got a great story like that as well.

Back in high school some friends and I were going to use a car marker to write on another friend's windshield as a prank. We wanted to do this at night where this friend was at a party and we wanted ski masks so nobody could tell who we were. Well problem is nobody knew what ski masks were called, so my friend called up Walmart asking if they "had any masks like bank robber wear." They said no and we carried out our deed anyway, just more carefully. Well about a week later a local bank got robbed by guys in ski masks and my friend's number was traced back and he was questioned by the police about the robbery.
