After watching 50/50 I started thinking about feelings. Why is it that movies can hit me in the feels so easily but games cant? Especially something like Mass Effect where I spent hundreds of hours with some of the characters and then they die or whatever and nothing. But JGL has cancer and ive known him for less than an hour and Im crying like a baby. Is it the writing or does the length work against the whole thing?

I think it's because movies involve real people. It's much easier to convey emotion through body language then just voice acting.
