How long will you play RB after "the end"?

Everyone knows there's a strong possibility that HMX may soon stop production of DLC some time this year. If by some chance that is the case, how would that affect you in terms of continued gameplay?

For me, it wouldn't make that big of difference. I mean of course I would be heartbroken, but I would still play it as often as I can and theres still a lot of DLC I haven't got bought yet. I'm just gotten in to pro instruments and I vow never to stop playing the game until I can GS mid tier songs on expert. I'm only on medium pro now, so I got at least a year of work ahead of me.

Just some reminders to stay on topic:
This is not a thread on why HMX might end DLC.
This is not a thread on should HMX end DLC.
This is not a thread on how HMX can prevent the end of DLC.

The point of this thread is, IF in the event that HMX stops making DLC, how long would you continue to play RB and why?

Until they pry my Starpex Peak guitar controller from my cold dead hands

    Sorry.

I'll play until I run out of working controllers or my PS3 breaks.

I've come to realize that it really is just another way to listen to music.

And as I have so far to go to getting anywhere near hard on keys or drums, I have a lot to play for.
I do guitar on expert, but not all songs, so I have that to try for(do you HEAR me, Ramblin' Man, I'm talking about YOU)

I'll probably still be here when they shut the lights off. Hell, I just bought a bunch of Rock Band: Unplugged songs last week.

So long as the game still works, I can't give an end date. I play when I feel like playing or if i'm invited in.
SillyStou: What will happen to this place when Rock Band ceases to exist?
RockBandRocker: We will all migrate to the Dance Central forums. It will be like Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt.
Munnchy: Only Flashier, with impeccable dance moves.
RockBandRocker: With more glitter and glam. We will survive

These fan goals aint getting any easier.

If they changed it to 5-star 50 songs on expert, I might have a shot and try another 6 months.
