I have tried to redeem the 'EXPORT TRACK' code on the back of my manual for GREEN DAY ROCK BAND on XBOX 360 for the last 6 weeks (Dec 2012/Jan 2012) and everytime i get the same message:
"Sorry, but we are unable to process the Export Code at this time"
I contacted E.A. support and they issued me a new key - but still the same problem.
An advisor finally admitted that there does seem to be some trouble with the server but all they can do is refer it to one of their specialist teams via email, and whether it gets resolved is down to them.
Thousands of people experienced the exact same problem back in 2010 - there are hundreds of forum posts all over the net with people complaining of it.
...And so it seems it's happened again.
SO PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE WILL THE ROCK BAND WEBSITE CHASE E.A. UP ON GETTING THEIR XBOX 360 CODE REDEMPTION SERVER BACK UP AND RUNNING AS IT'S RUINING MANY USER'S EXPERIENCE AND TARNISHING THE ROCK BAND NAME.
I have gone through 6 weeks of hell trying to resolve this after posting my game manual and code back to E.A UK Customer Support then trying to chase it up via online chat support, and now we are all looking on another massive wait until enough people push them into getting it resolved promptly!
Obviously didn't learn from their mistakes last time around!
IF YOU HAVE ENCOUNTERED THE SAME ISSUE TRYING TO REDEEM YOUR CODE PLEASE POST HERE. Hopefully they'll finally realise that there is a large scale problem that people demand to be corrected! C'mon Rock Band!
PS:- Am i the only person to experience being unable to find ANY other players on Xbox Live with GREEN DAY ROCK BAND? Have those servers gone wrong too, the same as the code redemption servers?
