RBN DLC Discussion: 1/10 (Xbox 360), 1/15 (PS3)

RBN releases aren't typically something I am interested in. In fact, the only other tracks I ever bought were from Third Eye Blind.

Some big name bands to come though RBN and make it to the PS3 include Finger Eleven's "Paralyzer", Creed, Seether, Evanescence, Third Eye Blind, Testament, and Mastodon, just to name the few I could think of off the top of my head.

I've got over 50 RBN tracks. Free Spirit constitutes one of the few full albums I won in RB, and are some of my favorite songs I discovered though RB. There's plenty of non-metal out there. It does take some time to look though.

Next week's songs were also affected, so releases from 11/15/12 and later will start coming out on 1/29/13 on PS3.

That doesn't mean that 1/29/13 will be The Biggest Hits of the RBN from 11/15/12 to now - as always, there are complex factors in play. As a result, some people will probably be disappointed. But that's true any week - and if there's one song you know will come out on PS3 eventually, it's "St. Elmo's Fire (Man in Motion)". So have patience, grasshoppers.

She's speaking of PS3 RBN ports lined up prior to 11/15. We'll get PS3 RBN the following weeks, but it's all lined up prior to 11/15. So, no more John Parr till then at the earliest.

SCEA and SCEE both. I realize that out of context my original message may be a little confusing, so here's what I was trying to say:

If a song came out on Xbox on 11/15/12 or later, it won't be released on Sony until at least 1/29/13.

Oh... I see what you are saying now. You were talking more about the process to bring 360 songs to PS3. I thought you said we won't be getting any RBN until another 15 song batch on 1/29. The holiday break didn't bother me durning the holidays, since I knew that was out of your control, but you had me worried here for a second. It's good now

Yep, add Ween and The Shins to that. I'd consider them pretty big.

I've got exactly 105 RBN Songs. I too love Free Spirit. Two bands I never expected to like were Free Spirit and Rishloo, but i've bought and enjoyed every track that's been ported over onto the PS3.
