Ness, Pit, and The Ice Climbers weren't very relevant either but they made it in. It might be a good way to bring interest to the series so Nintendo doesn't have to rely souly on Metroid for a more mature gaming experience.

maybe but the ghost (who's name is John Raimi) is not nearly as popular as those other 3... also Geist was never released in Japan which is a big problem because the game is made by a bunch of Japanese guys

but it would be an interesting character

Whoa Nintendo released something in America that they didn't release in Japan?! It's usually the other way around. They still haven't released the 1st and 3rd Mother games and they likely would have never released and Fire Emblem if it wasn't for SSBM.

Also one of the guys from Golden Sun could be neat. And maybe even one of the COs from Advanced Wars.

Next time I have my Wii to myself I'll get you my friend codes and we can play

Although I really suck it would still be fun to get a full game of forum people going.

If I'm playing on Wii U can I still play with people that are playing on Wii?

    Thank you HMX!

I don't see why not. The Wii U just acts like a Wii emulator.

    Woah O.O
Didn't not notice all this interest in this thread xD

Yeah I think John Raimi would be a great Smash character But sadly the franchise or the character will bring some anger games into a frenzy -_- I'm still hoping Ninja from I-Ninja to get in Because the set of moves he has in the game and plus the game was published by Namco which could give them a reason to bring him back from the basement

If there's an option to add friend codes then yes. The Rock Band Wii U thread seems to suggest that playing Wii games on Wii U means there's no option to add friend codes though.

As long as most of the characters from Melee/Brawl return I'll be happy.

I used to be into making lists like these, but now I'm not so sure what I want. I guess some more Pokemon would be cool (Blazekin seems built for this game). They also need to just make the boss characters playable this time around. That way hackers won't even bother trying to break the game making them playable. *The last bit is a joke request*
