Even the studio version has Steven Tyler singing differently from how he normally does. Enough so that it's pretty easy to think it's another band. Not really sure why. Wikipedia said it was sung in the voice closest to his real voice but it's the only one because he didn't like how his voice sounds on tape.

Yeah but at least on the studio version you can still tell its Steven Tyler even if he may have sang it in a different tone. On this live version the chorus doesn't even sound like him at all (ie different person).

On the original album (Aerosmith's first album) version, Steven Tyler sings "Dream On" his normal voice. Just about every other song on that album he sings in a different voice. He didn't like how high his voice sounded, so he did the vocals differently for those songs.

He still at times, for whatever reason, sings with this lower voice on "Dream On". Not sure why, but he does. It's weird, but it's him.

I forgot to say thanks for the code, I thanked the friend who gave it to me after he accidentally won 2, but for some odd reason I forgot to thank the company giving it out... I feel bad now.

I was seriously, seriously worried about the version of Dream On we got (based on forum reaction). I must say, though, I don't think its bad at all. Sure, it doesn't sound exactly like the version I am used to, but it definitely does not sound different in a bad way to me. I enjoyed it (and the other Aerosmith songs of course).

I can understand why not everyone would be happy with it (any variation with something familiar tends to have mixed reactions), but I thought the entire song was a good performance.

I sure hope this is refering to the PS3 backlog codes you found. Specifically the Billy Joel 12 pack if you have a code for that. (wouldn't mind having the 6 pack either.)

Played through all of the songs, including pro upgrades. loved it. My only complaint is that it's not loud enough. Other than that, it is awesome
