Discussion Thread: DLC Week of 1/29 - Aerosmith 6 Pack! Plus 2 Pro Guitar Upgrades!

Regardless, this is an amazing get and something I didn't think we would see.

Me, too. It was just a few weeks ago, in a post lamenting the coming end to DLC, I said it was too bad we would not get Aerosmith on Rock Band now (but I also qualified that I could be wrong and we would be surprised, weird).

Never thought I'd see the day Aerosmith masters come to Rock Band (especially during this year with the end of DLC possibly happening and all), but this is amazing!!! I'm instabuying everything but Legendary Child and Lover Alot, I'll check those out and see if I'm into them. Thank you HMX, definitely pack of the year material right here.

Kinda surprised we got a 6 pack. When was the last large pack like this? Iron Maiden?

Not really an Aerosmith fan, but I might pick up Sweet Emotion and Dream On. Something tells me Sweet Emotion might be kinda boring.

Hopefully the non-Blitz weeks can stay up to this caliber.

By the way, I watched the music video for Sweet Emotion last week and it has to be one of the best of all time. Just so funny and so rock and roll. Steven and Joe looking at each other singing "Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet Emooootion".

Oh man, this pack is fantastic news to wake up to. I'm looking forward to all of it, especially the live recording of "Dream On". I have this strong suspicion (or rather hope) that it's this recording, which is infinitely better than the studio version.

Seriously, all of you doubting the live version need to check out that recording. It's absolutely amazing.

Great DLC news. Shows again how committed HMX is: The exclusivity deal was probably barely over and - BAM! - here we have Aerosmith already.

However: What kind rumours did I miss that everyone seems to be so pessimistic about the continuation of weekly DLC?

It's been a while, but this is something to talk about! Very happy!! I didn't even check last week, so this was a surprise. Although I noticed that some of the Blitz songs last week got some pro upgrades, that's nice too.
