So the hardcore fans gave up and stopped buying DLC 4 years ago?

    Heh?

Going through the first page(because I dont hate myself enough to go through 15 pages) Its mostly either No or Ill buy it for my daughter/sister/girlfriend/wife/parties with a few "Yays" in there. Its not as negative as Facebook was but it wasnt super positive.

Reading that over again I worded that horribly. What I meant was that we forum people are more of a minority now than we ever have been.

I don't know. To stick with buying Rock Band DLC this long after Rock Band 3's release, you have to be at least a somewhat dedicated player. I think most dedicated players would at least check out the forums.

I think what happened with CRJ is that a lot of people like the song but did not want to admit it. So, its sales *seemed* to go against the forum opinion.

So exactly what is your point anyway? This was a bad DLC release, because it's not modern pop?

The original point was that less people know about Aerosmith than Gruge was assuming. My point now is that Aerosmith probably wont sell as much as people are thinking because they arent the latest greatest.

This started with www saying that an IGN article advertising Andrew WK DLC made more sense than a similar article advertising Aerosmith DLC because Andrew WK is bigger in the mainstream.

It will sell more than Andrew WK, easily.

I don't think that's something any of us can say for sure just yet. You really did confuse me when you started arguing that Call Me Maybe and Party Hard were the same song

I'm sure of it). Would a non-English song do as well?
Hey! Not once have I sang or played medium Bass on that song :P

On YT right now, Gangnam Style has 1,239,731,370 views since July 15th. Call Me Maybe has about 1/3 of that despite being out 5 months longer.

I imagine Gangnam Style would sell much better despite not being fully in english. I know I'd buy it.
