    Rude Mood

struggling to come up with a way to 5 star this bad boy. I'm not skilled enough to use flame notes. Whats my next best option?

    Hey there,

I don't know the song, but chances are good that Pinball can help you accomplish this. Considering that Flame Notes were recently nerfed out of existence, it's now the most powerful power-up, especially in conjunction with Bottle Rocket/Road Rage and Synchrony. Bottle Rocket is usually preferred over Road Rage for its consistency. I hope that helps, and let us know if you do it!

FINALLY got it. Bandmate-Blast-Super guitar. Let the bandmate take the guitar when ever it could and I worried about the other two tracks

Took me 3 tries to get it with pinball. Pinball is actually pretty weird with only 3 tracks. The gold star was around 630k. I got 434k of that with pinball.

5 star cut off was right around 445k - the run before I finally got it I had 441k and it was oh so close but not 5 stars. Next run I did just a tad better on the drum parts when I was on them and got 450k and the 5 stars. And then proceeded to play the rest of the album with the exact same load out and picked up 7 gold starred songs. Pretty happy right now!

On a 3 lane track, Bandmate/Pinball/Synch should score pretty high. Honestly, Rage/Blast/Super Guitar is probably the easiest though if the song is note dense on all 3 charts.

I cant do pinball for crap, so that was out of the question. I'd tried rage/blast/super guitar, but couldn't quite get there with that either. The combination of bandmate and "hit more notes!" was the winner

Yes it is very dense. The song is fast. The drummer is playing a rolling snare beat and it translates to (left left right) (left left right) on blitz. Stevie is flying on guitar and the bass player is right along with him. It is pretty tough to keep blitz mode up on any of the three instruments if that is what you are aiming for.

When I was playing it I remembered how difficult and annoying that track is on guitar on RB3.

Yes, once I got better at L-L-R on drums is when I found success.

And I hear ya on playing it on a guitar controller - I'm a pretty decent (hard/1st couple tiers expert) player for both guitar and bass, but I have to drop down to medium on both to play this mother of a song.
