No, and I don't plan on it. It will not be able to tell which string and fret each note is being played with, so the problems people would get in the best circumstances is that the pitches are detected correctly, but for the notes that can be played in several places on the guitar, the wrong string/fret information will be sent to the game, which will register you as missing the notes even if you're playing them correctly.

It's hard to say. I'm not sure what the limitations of pitch detection are. RB3 used buttons, but it still had to fudge the hit detection a LOT because of strum detection problems with both of the pro guitar controllers.

actually STRUM detection on RB3 is very strict... if you overhit (or if you play mute-off and the vibrating strings cause an overhit) or underhit, you get dinged. RB3 is very forgiving with the fingering on chords and allowing you to play only partial chords instead of full chords, but that's not because of hardware issues since the fret detection on a non-defective mustang or squier is just about perfect. i presume it's just to make things a bit easier on people when playing chords. and maybe RS is just doing the same thing.

i wish RB pro was more forgiving on the strum detection (or like RS did away with the whole overhit-breaking-streak thing altogether) since it makes playing with the mute off pretty pointless from a scoring perspective, and since rhythm strumming should be a bit more free-form anyway.
